No trees?. . . No problem! The Kelsyus Portable Folding Hammock is a self contained freestanding hammock and stand combo that comes in a backpack for easy portability. Just unfold it, insert four locking pins, attach the hammock and you're ready to kick back (Click on inset picture to see how easy it is). The hammock's overall length is 8'4" and width is 34", plenty of room for relaxation, and has sewn in spreader bars underneath for easy entry/exit. The frame is baked on enameled steel and the PVC hammock fabric is waterproof and quick drying. And it all fits in a zippered backpack so you can use it anywhere. . . or just set it up at home in your favorite cool spot for napping or reading.

The stand takes a little getting used to, but it's okay. The hammock is comfortable. I bought it for my wife who weighs 95 lbs and she loved it. I weigh 190 lbs and was comfy. THE PROBLEM is that the seams started cracking and splitting after just one season on my deck. I tried to buy a replacement hammock w/o the stand; KELSYUS does NOT sell them w/o the stand. Frustrating!

EverywhereChair.com Response: Dont know if this was left out in the weather, but it is not recommended. We sometimes have extra beds and can sell those.

This hammock seems like a great idea but I'm sad to say that your bottom will be a dragin'! I only weigh 130 LBS and I still hit the bars underneath. Despite the sagging you feel like a taco in this thing and not even a chance to lie on your stomach. I've tried to sell it a a garage sale and no one would buy it! Goodwill here we come!

Love our Kelsyus chairs for the beach, so gave this a try. When it's packed up, it was a bit bigger and heavier than I expected, but amazingly comfortable. Bought 2 - my boys LOVED them - can't wait for the beach this summer. It's little awkward to set up first try, but now they open and pack in less than a minute.
