This chair is made in the USA from hand selected clear hardwoods, such as maple, birch, etc. All joints are hand fitted and glued with steel underpinning to insure tight and long lasting rigidity. Strong joints are the most important factor in long lived director's chairs. Seat and Back fabric is heavy duty 14 oz. cotton canvas which is washable and colorfast. Finally, this chair has a 3 year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Seat Height is 30 inches, normal seating for a 40" bar. Dimensions: 23"w x 16"d x 46"h Box Size: 21"w x 7"d x 38"l Weight: 17 lbs. Styling: The Contemporary has more squared off and straight legs than the Classic. The armrest is flat and not carved down in the front. Show me the difference between the Contemporary and Classic Chairs. Detailed Description: Wood is select hardwoods (Beech, Maple, Birch, etc.). Finish is available in clear varnish or gloss enamel colors. Each chair is hand dipped to form double topcoats. All hardware is gold zinc plated and rust resistant.
