I purchased this chair to use for the various sports games in which my children are involved. I was especially interested in the attached canopy that serves a dual purpose as the chair's cover and backpack. While I thoroughly enjoyed the comfort, convenience and easy use of this chair, I was extremely underimpressed with it's longevity. After a year of use and winter garage storage, the plastic pieces which hold the canopy and backpack in place completely dry-rotted. Upon loading the chair into our car, the chair fell apart with plasic pieces falling everywhere. As a result, the canopy no longer attached to the chair thereby prohibiting it from being carried in its storage form. Needless to say, I have ordered a different style chair for future use.

Great idea, poor quality material. There are two 5" plastic strips that connect the canopy to the frame. In less than 3 years, they have completely shredded. Now the canopy is completely useless.

Bought this chair as a Christmas gift for my father in law. He loved it! It was easy to set up. A nice on-the-go compact chair.. He is already planning on using it to take to baseball games & fishing...
It is a little heavy for an 87 year old to carry, but someone is usually with him.
